Job Title: Product Owner
Terms: 6 month contract (possible extensions/conversion)
Location: Remote (Must be located in Central or Eastern Time Zone)

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping our products and driving our company’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Be the technical expert on the product
• Drive execution of solutions and achievement of objectives and key results
• Relentless urgency to deliver value to customers
• Clear understanding of the impact and business value
• Be a clear cross-functional leader and collaborator with the ability to orchestrate team success 
• Able to drive continuously improvement in the team, processes, and tool
• Assist Agile Scrum or Kanban team(s) in prioritizing work, design, and achieving outcomes
• Ensure scope of work is pragmatic and minimal, and solves for a problem that customers value
• Define story acceptance criteria, manage and prioritize the team backlog, and contribute to the overall product vision and roadmap

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a product owner or similar role, with a strong track record of writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with [relevant tools or software, e.g., JIRA, Confluence] is a plus.
