Department Overview:
The App Growth & Strategy team drives the adoption and engagement of the client mobile app by delivering enhanced experiences. We focus on scaling in-app relationship building experiences to elevate the customer journey, drive business impact, and strengthen the app’s foundational role in business and customer interactions.

Project Overview:
The team is responsible for developing and maintaining app-exclusive functionalities such as client Drops, iOS Live Activities, mobile home screen widgets, and Apple and Google wallet integration. Additionally, we promote the mobile app through various channels.

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a hands-on, creative, and collaborative software engineer to join our team. You’ll contribute to the development of high-quality, cutting-edge software solutions for our mobile and web apps. Working closely with other software engineers, product managers, and test engineers, you’ll design, develop, deploy, and debug full-stack software applications, making a significant impact on our development and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop, integrate, test, deploy, and debug mobile software solutions.
Evaluate new software technologies to stay abreast of industry trends and standards.
Take ownership of the software development process, prioritizing the delivery of the best possible customer experience.
Contribute to the development of web-based experiences as needed.

Please describe a recent project you completed using React Native.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript programming, React Native development, and DevOps automation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of relevant professional experience.
2+ years of experience with web app development.
Pair Programming Time Allocation:
20 – 70%
