We are seeking a Senior Engineer to collaborate closely with our Lead Engineer in spearheading an application modernization initiative for a specialized data analytics client. This role will involve transitioning a legacy C#/.NET Application to a Typescript.JS, React.JS, Node.JS, and SQL technology stack, with all components hosted on AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Lead Engineer to strategize and execute the modernization effort.
• Lead the migration from C#/.NET to Typescript.JS, React.JS, Node.JS, and SQL.
• Focus on Node.js and server-side API development, with a secondary emphasis on React and front-end development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Maintain clear documentation throughout the modernization process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, particularly with C#/.NET, Typescript.JS, React.JS, Node.JS, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with application modernization projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Location: This role is fully remote. While local candidates in the Minneapolis area are preferred for occasional office visits, we welcome applicants from anywhere.

Duration: Initially, this is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of extensions, potentially spanning up to 18 months.
