Join our team as a Senior Agile Business Analyst and collaborate with Technology Platform Managers, Product Managers, Agile Product Owners, Software Developers, Azure Architects, and program stakeholders to shape business and technical strategies, driving digital growth and innovation. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in evaluating requirements, identifying opportunities, and fostering the development of cutting-edge digital solutions.Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Agile Product Owners, software developers, UI/UX designers, Azure architects, end-users, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create functional and non-functional product backlog items and user stories for advanced AI/ML and digital solutions within the nuclear industry.
Collect and meticulously document business, functional, and technical requirements in the form of user stories, which will be executed by cross-functional Agile teams to support digital product development, integration, enhancement, or maintenance.
Support Agile Product Owners, Agile Team Leaders, and Business Unit Product Managers in defining business rules and data analytics, enhancing the digital portfolio strategy.
Provide clear guidance to the team regarding Agile development methodologies, ceremonies, expectations, deliverables, dependencies, and their respective roles.
Craft user stories aligned with user objectives, software requirements, and business outcomes, driving the development process forward.
Assist the team in story sizing, sprint story selection, story splitting, and technical story details determination, ensuring optimal execution.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring efficient development cycles.
Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including software developers, architects, and strategic planning sessions throughout the business planning cycle.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering, Computer Science preferred.
Experience:
5-7 years of experience working on SDLC projects in various capacities.
A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Leader, Agile Business Analyst, or Agile Project Manager within software development, applying Agile principles and practices diligently.
Proficiency in software development lifecycles and a track record of contributing to Agile software development teams.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive consensus outcomes and decisions.
Demonstrated ability to guide solutions from ideation to full-scale customer deployment through iterative development.
Strong aptitude for moderating team dynamics and leading through influence.
Certification in an Agile framework or method (e.g., SAFe, DAD, Kanban) and familiarity with Agile tools and reporting.
Proven track record of facilitating meetings across multiple organizational levels, coupled with a deep understanding of facilitation techniques.
Expertise in applying different techniques to optimize team effectiveness within an Agile framework (e.g., various Burndown technologies, diverse retrospective approaches, handling bugs during sprint planning).
Skilled in removing blockers for teams and championing cross-functional teams or departments.
